Students can click on each option (I or II) under “Interactive
Animations” to make a change in conformation, which will eventually
change from a sawhorse to a Fischer projection.
Nevertheless, students can freely rotate the molecules in any direction
to any degree by holding a left click and dragging the molecule into a
desired direction.
Reminder: horizontal lines are those bonds that protrude out of the
plane, while vertical lines are those bonds that point towards the
direction behind the plane.
